316 Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if he is currently awaiting a report by the Garda Inspectorate on the Garda Reserve; if so, when this report will be published; the target implementation date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19587/11]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Garda Inspectorate recommended a review of the role of the Garda Reserve in its report on Resource Allocation. The Garda Commissioner, who has responsibility for determining the range of powers and duties of the Garda Reserve under section 15(5) of the Garda Síochána Act 2005, has established a review and I look forward to its outcome.
