627 Deputy Paudie Coffey asked the Minister for Health the amount of national lottery funding his Department received in 2009 and 2010; and if he will provide a list of the money that was spent in tabular form. [21979/11]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department administers a National Lottery Discretionary fund from which grants are paid to community and voluntary organisations. The total amount paid in 2009 was €3.985 million and in 2010 was €3.786 million. Following a decision by the Comptroller and Auditor General in 2010, the Appropriation Accounts no longer provides details of all recipients of lottery grants, but the information in relation to 2009 and 2010 is available on my Department's website at www.dohc.ie.
