349 Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Social Protection if she will publish the details of her Department’s submission and all correspondence to the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform for consideration as part of the comprehensive spending review. [23478/11]
Amharc ar fhreagraDepartmental submissions to the CRE are a central part of the overall pre-budget deliberations of the Government. As such, release of these documents could not be considered in advance of Government decisions on the forthcoming Budget. The Minister for Public Expenditure & Reform has already indicated that it is his intention to publish the Reports submitted as part of the CRE process following the finalisation of the budgetary process.
