370 Deputy Catherine Byrne asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to a development (details supplied) in Dublin 18, which is lying idle; if this development can be let to tenants; if he will ensure that the developer fulfils their obligations to the authorities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe development in question has been included in the 2011 National Housing Development Survey database, published on 12 October 2011. I am committed to exploring all options for bringing unsold suitable residential stock into productive use for social housing purposes and am open to proposals in that regard.
Any questions regarding compliance with the various statutory requirements, including the planning and building codes, should be directed to Dublin City Council.
