79 Deputy Ciarán Lynch asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government his plans to introduce a ministerial order to allow the sale of local authority flats as provided for in the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraWork is advancing on the preparation of the statutory instruments and related documentation required to enable the tenant purchase scheme for local authority apartments under Part 4 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 to be brought into operation as soon as possible. I expect to be in a position to make the necessary instruments before the end of this year.
