Amharc ar fhreagraFunding for capital cultural projects in my Department is primarily from the Cultural Development subhead that has an allocation of €7.8 million in 2011, which is a reduction of over 50% from the 2010 allocation. All of this funding is fully committed and there is no scope for any funding being provided to defray the costs of any new projects, however worthwhile. I have met the CEO of the organisation involved on many occasions and I am, of course, willing to meet him again at any mutually convenient time.
