417 Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding area aid payment in respect of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32137/11]

An application under the 2011 Single Payment Scheme/Disadvantaged Areas was received from the person named on 12 May 2011, following processing of which an over-claim on one of the parcels declared by the person named was identified. The person named has been written to regarding the matter and, on receipt of a satisfactory reply, the application will be further processed with a view to appropriate payment issuing at an early date thereafter

418 Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a single farm payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32141/11]

An application under the 2011 Single Payment Scheme was received from the person named on 5 April 2011, following processing of which, a dual-claim was identified on one of the parcels declared by the person named. As this has recently been resolved, payment will issue to the person named shortly.

Paul Connaughton

419 Deputy Paul J. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason an area-based payment and cow welfare scheme payment was not paid in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Galway when same will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An application under the 2011 Single Payment Scheme/Disadvantaged Areas Scheme was received from the person named on 13 May 2011. Payment of the 50% advance of the Single Payment issued on 19 October and the aid due under the Disadvantaged Areas Scheme issued to the applicant on 26 October.

The person named registered 95 animals under the 2010 Suckler Welfare Scheme. During the validation process, issues were identified in relation to five animals and an official from my Department has made direct contact with the person named regarding these. Payment has been processed on the remaining 90 animals, which will issue shortly.
