442 Deputy Noel Harrington asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when an application for an aquaculture licence will be processed and a decision communicated to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32405/11]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe application in question is in the name of Bradan Fanad Teoranta t/a Marine Harvest Ireland. In accordance with standard procedures, observations have been requested by my Department in respect of the application from a range of scientific, engineering and other advisers. On receipt of all necessary observations my Department will give further consideration to the application and, if appropriate, will move to the public consultation stage of the process.
Every effort is being made to expedite the processing of this application.
