Ceist:

258 Deputy Timmy Dooley asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will give further and more detailed information on the infrastructure and capital investment 2012 to 2016 Medium Term Exchequer Framework commitment to the removal of certain pinch points and bottlenecks including some urban rail level crossings and give the exact crossings in question; and the timeframe expected for this work programme. Following the publication of the Medium Term Exchequer Framework 2012 -2016 the individual agencies have been advised of their overall allocations for the period 2012 to 2016. It is now a matter for the relevant agencies to prepare five year plans having regard to the funds available and the priorities as outlined in the Framework .

My Department will be liaising closely with the agencies as regards their five year plans.
