301 Deputy Simon Harris asked the Minister for Health his plans to introduce independent evaluations of the services offered by the Health Service Executive in specific geographical regions to ensure better co-ordination of services offered to the public in these areas; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that the Deputy is referring to primary care services offered by the Health Service Executive in County Wicklow and the coordination of those services with the local acute hospitals.

As this is a service matter it has been referred to the HSE for direct reply to the Deputy.
