244 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Health the position regarding the steps he has taken regarding the future of a hospital (details supplied) in County Wicklow; if he will appreciate the concerns of families of residents and the wider community in respect of the threatened closure; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter it has been referred to the Health Service Executive for direct reply.However, the HSE has given assurances that they will engage fully in a local consultation process with all the stakeholders before any decision is taken in relation to the Community Nursing Unit in question.
