117 Deputy Joanna Tuffy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he will provide an analysis of Revenue staff at the following grades, higher executive officer, assistant principal and principal officer, on the basis of gender and age, at 31 December 2011 and the likely position at 1 March 2012 based on notifications of intended retirements; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Revenue Commisioners have provided me with the information in Tables 1 and 2 in response to the Deputy's question. Officials from my Department, the Revenue Commissioners and the Department of Finance are in discussions on how to address critical skills losses that will arise due to these retirements.
