488 Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the salaries and allowances paid to his private secretary and to the Secretary General of his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5032/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe salary of the Private Secretary in my Department is based on the HEO (modified) payscale which runs from €43,816 (minimum) to €55,415 (maximum). Private secretaries also receive an allowance of €19,653 per annum. The payscale of the Secretary General of my Department is a one point scale which is currently €188,640.
