280 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Health the total number of stroke patients currently in private nursing homes and in public nursing homes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8718/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraPatients/residents in nursing homes can have a number of complex medical conditions, which may include stroke. As far as we are aware there is no overall statistical information in relation to numbers of stroke patients in private residential homes. The part of the question relating to public nursing homes has been referred to the HSE for direct reply.
