492 Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the current status of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service based at St. Finbar’s Hospital, Cork; the future plans for the service based there; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12158/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraApproval was given by the Board of the HSE in July 2011 to relocate the Munster Regional Transfusion Centre to a site at Cork University Hospital and a capital allocation has been provided for this purpose. This project is currently under discussion between the IBTS and the HSE.
