Amharc ar fhreagraWork is underway in my Department to develop legislation to extend free GP cover to persons with defined long-term illnesses who are in receipt of drugs and medicines under the Long Term Illness Scheme. It is not possible at this stage to say when the second stage debate will take place but it is hoped to produce the legislation by this summer.
