152 Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government when the specific draft regulations under section 70L of the Water Services (Amendment) Act 2011 will be published; if commencement of the Act will be deferred pending the publication of the regulations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to my reply to Questions Nos. 1 and 2 on today's Order of Business. I will sign a Commencement Order for the Water Services (Amendment) Act 2012 in advance of the commencement of the registration system which is expected to be operational in mid-April 2012.
