37 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare may be eligible for mortgage interest relief due to unavoidable circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14365/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the person in question is currently and has been receiving the maximum amount of mortgage interest relief payable in respect of his qualifying home loan. Accordingly, he does not have an entitlement to additional tax relief on a home improvement loan.
