50 Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding a devolved grant application for a school (details supplied) in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14376/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe school to which the Deputy refers submitted an application for grant-aid towards re-configuring its existing accommodation. This application was assessed and my Department was satisfied that the school has sufficient accommodation to cater for its current staffing needs. Funding was therefore not provided. The school was advised that it is open to it to prioritise works that it wished to undertake within the terms of the minor works grant provided to the school in November 2011.
