248 Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding an application for early retirement in respect of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16965/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person is question has not applied for early retirement at this time. However, he has recently sought details from my Department as to the earliest date at which he may retire with a pension. The information sought by the person in question is being compiled in the Pension Unit of my Department and will issue to the person in question within the next 2 weeks which is well within the timeframe outlined in my Department's Business Plan for the provision of such information.
