Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised that matters relating to rural affairs were transferred to the then Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government by way of the Community Affairs (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2011 (S.I. No. 196 of 2011). Accordingly, the Deputy will appreciate that my Department has no statutory function in relation to the matter raised by him.
