111 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs when she received the fifth report of the Special Rapporteur on Child Protection and the reason she has not published same; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [24029/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Report of the Special Rapporteur on Child Protection was received by my Department on the 7th of February this year. The report has been distributed to relevant Ministerial colleagues for observations on the range of issues highlighted by the report. Once this consultation process has been completed my Department will make the necessary arrangements to have the report laid before both Houses of the Oireachtas.
