173 Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if plans have been submitted to him in relation to the extension of the Mountmellick sewerage network, County Laois, to Garoon which is part of Mountmellick town and if he will approve such a proposal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraMountmellick sewerage scheme phases 2 and 3 are listed in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2010-2013 as schemes to progress through planning stages within the currency of the programme. Laois County Council have recently received confirmation of an Environment Impact Study from An Bórd Pleanála and a preliminary report for the scheme has been received in my Department.
