228 Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of persons who retired from the public sector who have been re-employed by his Department in 2011 and to date in 2012; their grades; the cost of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer the Deputy to Dáil Question No. 405 of Tuesday 8th May 2012 which sets out details of all retired public servants who have been re-hired in my Department since my appointment as Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport on 9th March 2011.
