347 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection if and when payment will be reinstated in respect of an application for rent allowance in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [28154/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraPayment will only be reinstated when the person concerned is in receipt of a primary payment. Currently, the person concerned has a Jobseeker's Benefit claim pending since the 5th June 2012. When a decision has been made regarding this claim, the payment of rent supplement can be reassessed accordingly.
