348 Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if he will provide in tabular form the number of staff who retired from his Department in each year since 2009 and the total gratuity payments made to retiring staff in each of these years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In addition to the standard lump sums paid to retirees in years 2011 and 2012, the total gratuities for those years includes balances of lump sums paid to staff who opted to retire in 2009 under the Incentivised Early Retirement Scheme (ISER) and who reached minimum retirement age in those years.
