494 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if a payment under the farm improvement scheme due to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will be issued in view of the fact that all works were approved during construction and the project cleared a health and safety check after construction; and if he will expedite the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned is an applicant for grant-aid under the Farm Improvement Scheme. However, as the completed investments were found not to be in compliance with the technical specifications of my Department, no grant-aid has yet been paid in this case. My Department has recently been in contact with the applicant setting out the alterations which must be carried out in order to enable the grant-aid to be paid.
