213 Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for Social Protection the position regarding a carer’s application in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [32964/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe application for carer's allowance from the person in question was refused on the ground that the care recipient is not in need of full-time care and attention as laid down in the regulations. The person in question has requested a review of this decision and has submitted further medical evidence in support of the application. Once the review is completed in this case the person in question will be notified directly of the outcome.
