38 Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs when the audit produced on foot of the recommendations in the report on the Roscommon child care case will be published; the current PCCC areas in which this audit has been completed and those in which it is currently ongoing; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI have been informed by the HSE that the audit referred to by the Deputy has now been completed in the former Roscommon, Waterford and Dublin South East Local Health Offices. The HSE intends to publish a composite report of the findings relating to this phase of the audits. This report is nearing completion and it is expected to be published in late summer/early autumn.
There are currently no audits ongoing in other areas pending the agreement on the methodology for the further rollout of the process.
