40 Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the date she received the most recent report of the special rapporteur on child protection; the reason that the report has not been published; when same will be laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Report of the Special Rapporteur on Child Protection was received by my Department on the 7th of February this year. The report was distributed to relevant Ministerial colleagues for observations on the range of issues highlighted by the report. This consultation process has now been completed and my Department is currently finalising the necessary arrangements to have the report laid before both Houses of the Oireachtas.
