716 Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Health the progress in relation to discussions between his Department and the National Asset Management Agency in relation to the possible relocation of the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street to vacant buildings at Elm Park, Merrion Road, Dublin 4; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Dublin maternity hospitals have been working with the HSE in relation to the development of their business cases for relocation. All options for the relocation of the National Maternity Hospital at Holles Street are being explored and in this regard discussions have taken place with NAMA in relation to the Elm Park site. There are significant issues of capacity and risk in the existing hospital buildings in Holles Street and I am eager to find a viable solution.
