1359. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Agriculture; Food and the Marine the total amount spent on taxis by his Department since February 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [37318/12]

The total amount spent on taxis by my Department since February 2011 is €69,251.74. My Department only uses taxis where the use of other public transport is not possible for reasons of practicality.
