72. Deputy Micheál Martin asked the Minister for Agriculture; Food and the Marine if the Irish Farmers' Association has requested to meet with him; if he intends to do so; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30309/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraSince my appointment as Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, I have met the Irish Farmers Association formally and informally on a regular basis. I meet regularly with the various farm organisations and from time to time with the various Sectoral Committees, as well as attending a broad range of Agri-Food events around the country.
