567. Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the reason the Cystic Fibrosis physiotherapist at Temple St Hospital, Dublin has not been replaced resulting in only acute patients receiving physiotherapy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41879/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraIn relation to the specific query raised by the Deputy I have been advised by the Health Service Executive that the person who was in post has resigned and that an application has been made for the post to be filled through the exemption process which is in place for posts currently. It is my understanding that this application has been made in the past week and therefore there is no decision yet. I am also advised that Temple Street have arrangements in place to ensure that any child who needs to be seen will be seen.
