The person named was approved for participation in the Agri-Environment Options Scheme with effect from 1 September 2010 and full payment totalling €1,445.35 issued in respect of 2010.
Under the EU Regulations governing the Scheme and other area-based payment schemes, a comprehensive administrative check, including cross-checks with the Land Parcel Identification System, must be completed before any payment can issue. Similar checks which include verification of capital investment through checks on receipts are carried out in respect of payment for the 2011 scheme year. These checks have been successfully completed and full payment totalling €4,999.97 issued in respect of 2011 - 75% on 5 October and 25% on 8 October 2012. I expect 2012 payments to commence later this year.
