496. Deputy John O'Mahony asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive their area aid payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [44270/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraAn application under the Single Payment Scheme/Disadvantaged Areas Scheme was received from the person named on the 15th May 2012.
In order to comply with EU requirements, the application concerned was one of a number which was selected for inspection.
This inspection and related processes have now been completed. Accordingly, the application is being progressed with a view to payment under both SPS and DAS issuing shortly.
