553. Deputy Pat Breen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding an application for single farm payment in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [46039/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe 50% advance payment under the 2012 Single Payment Scheme issued to the person named on 16 October. While the person named applied for derogation under the 2012 Disadvantaged Areas Scheme, the application was unsuccessful. The applicant was notified of this decision in writing on 10 October and advised of the right of appeal to the recently established independent DAS Appeals Committee.
