277. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will provide details of all the Gaeltacht allowance payable to civil and public servants; the level of each allowance payable to each category and the monetary level of each allowance together with the total amount payable in 2009, 2010 and 2011. No staff in my Department receive a Gaeltacht allowance. I have asked the State agencies under the aegis of my Department to provide the Deputy with the information requested. If you do not receive a reply from the agencies within ten working days please advise my private office.
