349. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Skills when he expects to have a contract awarded for the construction of an extension to a primary school (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will provide an estimate of when the project is likely to commence and be completed by. The Deputy will be aware from my previous correspondence to him in June 2012 that my Department in consultation with the Design Team and school authorities agreed to re-tender the project to which he refers. Subject to no issues arising, it is anticipated that the project will progress to construction in Quarter 2 of 2013.
