Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline the opportunities that persons in lower grades of the public service have been afforded in contributing to the reforms of the public service as sought in the public service agreement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraStaff at all levels in the Department, together with staff representatives and management have the opportunity to contribute through the normal industrial relations framework i.e. Departmental Council which is part of the Conciliation and Arbitration Scheme for the Civil Service. Staff also contribute to reform and change in their respective areas as part of the ongoing transformation process in the Department.
