73. Deputy Michael P. Kitt asked the Minister for Education and Skills when the overdue grant payment will be processed by Student Universal Support Ireland in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [55777/12]

Officials in my Department have confirmed with SUSI, the new centralised grant awarding authority, that in the case of the student referred to by the Deputy a decision has now been made and a letter will issue directly to the student outlining the position in the coming days.
