197. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding the allocation of funding to a school(details supplied) in County Kerry to provide an autism unit; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [56336/12]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that devolved funding for the provision of a 2-classroom ASD Unit was approved in October 2012 under my Department's Additional Accommodation Scheme for the school referred to by the Deputy.
