Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Education and Skills when a decision will be made in respect of a Student Universal Support Ireland application in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan; if he will process this application as a matter of urgency; when first payment will issue [56883/12]

Officials in my Department have confirmed with SUSI, the new centralised grant awarding authority, that in the case of the student referred to by the Deputy a decision has been made and a letter will issue shortly directly to the student outlining the decision.
