498. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if a former employee of his Department is entitled to draw their pension now; if there is any arrangement to cash in his pension or transfer same. [56984/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person to whom the Deputy refers retired under the Cost Neutral Early Retirement scheme on the 29 February 2012 and received a lump sum in early March 2012. His pension is payable fortnightly by the Paymaster General's Office with effect from 1 March 2012 and it is not possible to pay his pension in any other manner.
