Deputy James Bannon asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will reverse the decision to cancel the number 22 Bus Éireann service through Kinnegad, County Westmeath, in view of the negitive effect on Kinnegad, the third largest town in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is a matter for Bus Éireann in conjunction with the National Transport Authority (NTA) and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply. Will the Deputy please advise my private office if a reply is not received within ten working days.
