Deputy Niall Collins asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the number of regulatory impact assessments that have been carried out by his Department in the past twelve months and the list of regulatory impact assessments carried out within his Department in the past twelve months. Amharc ar fhreagraI am fully committed to achieving the goals set out in the Action Plan for Better Regulation and believe that improvements in regulation can have a positive impact on the quality of engagement between the public and Government. As no new regulations were introduced by my Department, there were no Regulatory Impact Assessments required by my Department in the past twelve months.
