Deputy Joe O'Reilly asked the Minister for Finance the reason a company (details supplied) in County Cavan that has applied for a 2205 classification cannot be facilitated in obtaining this, in view of the fact that the jobs of 12 people are at stake here; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that they are examining the classification of an alcoholic product presented by the company in question and have sought the assistance of the State Laboratory as part of this process. The Commissioners expect to complete this examination within the next two to three weeks and advise their classification decision to the company.
