Deputy Sandra McLellan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of retired public sector workers on pensions within his Department or any Office/Body under his aegis that have been re-instated in other positions within the public sector; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThree staff currently employed in my Department on a contract basis are in receipt of pensions. In addition, one staff member recruited by the Public Appointments Service is in receipt of a public service pension. Normal pension abatement rules have been applied in these cases. I have no information available to me regarding retired staff from my Department who may be currently employed in other areas of the public service.
