Deputy Nicky McFadden asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will outline the way training programmes for tourism businesses in the areas of ecotourism and environmental policy may contribute to the local economy and job creation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of training programmes and business supports to tourism businesses is an operational matter for Fáilte Ireland.  I have referred the Deputy's Question to Fáilte Ireland for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
