Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed by the Irish Prison Service that the person referred to by the Deputy is continuing to receive ongoing appropriate medical care which his condition warrants. As advised previously, medical confidentiality is a time honoured principle of professional healthcare ethics and accordingly I am not at liberty to divulge information relating to a prisoner's medical records.
